The focal point of the community is the award winning Pittsford Area School district. Nearby, hunters take advantage of the Lost Nations State Game area which also features a segment of the North Country Trail. Pittsford recently enacted a zoning ordinance and installed a sewer system to improve the community. The annual Memorial Day Parade is draw for many county residents.
